Imaging technology has come a long way since 1987.
And so have we.

From the beginning, we were determined to set the standard not only for imaging capabilities, but also for diagnostic excellence and outstanding customer service. This focus and dedication helped our customers and allowed us to expand our business.

Since 1987, we have managed and owned West Suburban Imaging Center located on Rt. 16 in Wellesley Hills, MA; providing MRI, CT, X-Ray, a nd Arthrography services.

Since 1990, NEHE- MRI, LLC has been offering MRI services in Maine. With three fixed sites and seven sites visited by our two mobile MRI units, NEHE- MRI, LLC is able to provide MRI services to people in remote areas throughout Maine. NEHE- MRI, LLC partnered with The Aroostook Medical Center (TAMC), Houlton Regional Hospital, and Waldo County General Hospital to operate three fixed-base MRI services.

In 1992, New England Health Enterprises, now New England Health Imaging, headquartered in Concord, Massachusetts, was founded.

In 1997, New England Health Imaging partnered with MetroWest Medical Center and MetroWest Radiology Associates to form MetroWest MRI on Rt. 9 in Framingham, MA. This center operates two high-field MRI scanners. With the first Avanto in Massachussetts, we offer Total Imaging Matrix (TIM) capabilities. Our newest addition is with advancements in breast & cardiac imaging. MetroWest MRI has been elected a "Center for Excellence". This center is also used to conduct innovative research studies.

In 2002, we established MetroNorth MRI with Northeast Radiology Associates on Route 1N in Saugus, MA to provide MRI services to the North Shore community.

In 2003, we began offering MRI services with Specialized Medical Imaging Group at MetroSouth MRI. This center is located in the Bridgewater Goddard Park Medical Associates building off Rt. 123 in Brockton, MA.

In 2007, Alliance Imaging purchased us and we are now one of the biggest health care providers in the country.
